Meeting with “Town & Gown” MPP's

Brian met with Judy Marsales, MPP, Hamilton West to discuss Town and Gown issues and the need for changes to provincial legislation.  Terry Whitehead, Councillor Ward 8 and a staff representative from Marie Bountrogianni's, MPP Hamilton Mountain office attended as well, along with representatives of the Ainslie Wood Westdale Community Association, McMaster University, McMaster Student Union, Westdale Village BIA, Mohawk College, Mohawk Students Association and community members of the Mohawk College Neighbourhood Committee.

Information was provided about the creation of a new provincial body, Town and Gown Association of Ontario (TGAO) which will be formalized at the upcoming Town and Gown Symposium in Guelph. See below for more information on the symposium.
